Neptun Hausriff

Neptun Hausriff is a shallow, rocky reef site located near Šilo on the northern coast of Krk Island. The typical depth range spans from a few metres down to around 15–20 metres, with several sheltered gullies and swim-throughs formed by natural rock and reef structure. The site is known for clear Adriatic waters and generally calm conditions, making it suitable for recreational divers and those building buoyancy and navigation skills. Expect mixed Mediterranean fauna common to the region, including small groupers, wrasse, moray eels, and various blennies and gobies among a backdrop of limestone formations and patches of brown algae. Entry is usually from a beach or gentle shore access, with easy to moderate currents depending on tides. Proximity to Krk towns means it is a convenient local dive for nearby centers and shore divers.
