Mesa

Mesa is a local dive site near George Town, characterized by shallow to mid-depth dives with a generally calm profile suitable for novices and more experienced divers alike. The site occupies a shallow area with gentle slopes and sandy patches interspersed by rocky outcrops that support a range of Western Atlantic reef-associated life. Expect easy entry and stable conditions on calm days, with typical visibility varying by weather and currents. Common sightings include small reef fishes, blennies, gobies, parrotfish, and occasional barracuda or rays in the surrounding sand zones. The site can be integrated into a half or full day of shore or boat diving from nearby hubs, and is often used for practice, drift rehearsals, and macro encounters close to typical Caribbean habitats.
