Mel’s Rock is a local coastal dive site near the town of Općina Vrbnik, on the northern Croatian coast. It features a rocky underwater profile with a shallow to moderate depth range and clear visibility typical of the Adriatic. The site is often explored as a short shore or boat dive from nearby hubs such as Novi Vinodolski or Selce, each within a short drive. Expect a rocky bottom, gentle to moderate currents, and the chance to encounter typical Adriatic reef life like small groupers, blennies, crustaceans, and an array of macro critters among the rock crevices. The site is suitable for recreational divers with basic buoyancy control and offers a straightforward exit and ascent near the rock formations.
