Lone Tree Arch is a shallow coastal arch dive located off Kailua on the Kona coast. The site typically features a rock-arch structure with swim-through opportunities and surrounding lava-aligned topography. Depths here are moderate, with most dives staying within easy reach of the arch and the surrounding reef slope. Expect clear Hawaiian waters, fair to good visibility, and a mix of reef life common to shallow Kona sites, including at least a variety of damselfish, angelfish, tangs, and small reef invertebrates. Entry is usually from a sandy shoulder or rocky beach access, with a straightforward descent and relaxed drift options depending on current conditions. This site is well-suited for beginner to intermediate divers, as well as photographers looking to capture the arch and nearby lava formations.
