Little Bay

Little Bay is a coastal reef site near Philipsburg, framed by a shallow sloping reef with sheltered swim-throughs and scattered coral heads. Accessible from the nearby harbor, entry is straightforward from a sandy/reef transition zone. The site typically hosts clear Caribbean water, with moderate visibility and gentle currents, making it suitable for recreational divers and entry-level to intermediate profiles. Expect a mix of hard corals, colorful sponges, and resident reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, and damselfish, with occasional larger fish attracted by the shallows and structure. Depths generally range from a few meters to the mid-teens, with the reef crest and patches providing evening and night dive opportunities for macro life. As a local, relatively sheltered site, plan for shallow bottom times and respect for nearby moorings and fishing areas.
