Le Phare De La Chiappa

Le phare de la Chiappa is a coastal dive site near Porto-Vecchio, Corsica. The site lies off rocky terrain with a shallow to mid-depth profile typical of Mediterranean coastal dives. Access usually involves a short boat ride from the shore. Dive conditions are generally calm with sea state depending on wind directions; visibility is typical of Corsican coastal sites. Expect rocky bottoms, with potential small caves or crevices and common Western Mediterranean species such as moray eels, groupers, wrasses, octopus and practice for buoyancy and finning in current-free conditions. The nearby lighthouse area is a recognizable landmark for orientation from the dive boat.
