Le Lieu

Le Lieu is a local coastal dive site near Lampaul-Plouarzel, Le Cleguer and Porspoder in Brittany. This straightforward site is typically explored by boat from nearby harbours and offers shallow slopes, sandy patches and small rocky outcrops. Expect calm conditions and good visibility in typical fin-friendly depths, with easy access for introductory or training dives. Common Western Bay of Brest species may include small wrasse, blennies, gobies and crabs, plus seabed habitats with patches of seagrass. The site is suitable for beginners and for practice dives close to shore, with simple navigation and relaxed current conditions.
