Le Cimentier

Le Cimentier is a local Mediterranean dive site near the French Riviera, typically accessed from the coastal towns around Saint-Tropez. The site is characterized by shallow to moderate depths with a sloping seabed and rocky sections often bordered by seagrass meadows. Entry is straightforward from the beach or a small boat and conditions are generally calm in sunny conditions with good visibility in stable weather. Expect a mix of rocky outcrops and soft-bottom areas that attract common Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, wrasses, moray eels, octopus, and lobsters. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and can offer macro highlights on the rocky crests as well as easy drift along the edge of the reef features. Access times from nearby coastal towns are short, making Le Cimentier a convenient option for a half-day dive near La Croix-Valmer, Cavalaire-sur-Mer or Ramatuelle.
