La Ma De Deu

La Ma de Deu is a local dive site near the Costa Brava towns of Castell d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Calonge i Sant Antoni. Access is straightforward from these coastal towns, making it a practical choice for day trips. The site sits in shallow to mid-depth waters typical of the region, with a rocky seabed and varied bottom topology that can offer gentle drop-offs and sheltered areas for entry. Expect Mediterranean reef life to be representative of Catalan coast habitats, including common groupers, moray eels, octopuses and a variety of wrasses and damsels around rocky outcrops and Posidonia meadows. Visibility is usually fair to good in good weather, and conditions are commonly calm in sheltered bays. This site is suitable for recreational divers and can accommodate training dives from local centres. Nearby towns and easy access from Castell d'Aro, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Calonge i Sant Antoni make it a convenient option for a coastal dive day.
