L'anse Fortune

L'Anse Fortune is a Caribbean dive site off Martinique’s southwest coast, accessible from the nearby towns of Les Anses-d'Arlet, Les Trois-Îlets, and Le Diamant. The site features a gentle slope with rocky and coral structures hosting a variety of reef life typical of the Lesser Antilles. Expect clear, warm waters with good visibility on calm days. Common encounters include parrotfish, angelfish, damselfish, snappers, and occasional moray eels. Access is straightforward for boat dives, with entry from a small beach or from a dinghy to the shallow margins before deeper sections. Depths generally range from shallow to mid-depth, making it suitable for recreational divers with basic training. Nearby protected areas and coastal habitats contribute to a diverse yet modest underwater environment.
