Kuramathi Caves

Kuramathi Caves is a shallow reef and cave dive site near Kuramathi Island in the Maldives. Located in a clear, warm tropical sea, the site typically features a series of small enclosed caverns and swim-throughs formed in limestone reef structures. Divers enter from a sandy channel and follow a gentle wall lined with hard corals, sponges and schooling fish. Depths are generally shallow, making it accessible for beginners with basic training and for drift dives along the reef edge. Expect calm conditions, good visibility, and encounters with reef fish such as snappers, fusiliers, parrotfish, and occasional reef sharks depending on currents.
