Tokashiki
Kuefu Island North
Kuefu Island North is a coastal site off Okinawa’s Naha area, known for its gentle sloping reef and clear shallow sections. Access is typically by boat from nearby ports, with entry via a sandy to rocky seabed and gradually deepening to around modest depths. The site offers calm conditions on fair weather days, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and for snorkelers when currents are light. Marine life in this region often includes a variety of tropical reef fish, wrasse, parrotfish, and occasional larger species around the drop-offs. The underwater topography provides light swim-throughs and opportunities to explore small coral formations and seagrass beds common along Okinawa’s eastern shore.
