Kin Red Beach is a shallow, sandy-sand bottom site located near Kin in Okinawa, Japan. The area features a gently sloping seabed with occasional patches of rock and rubble, typical of many local shore dives. Access is straightforward from Kin, with entry from the beach and a short swim to the shallower coastal zone. Conditions are generally mild with calm seas in favorable weather; visibility can vary but is often moderate for a shore site. Marine life tends toward common Okinawan coastal species such as damselfish, filefish, parrotfish, and small groupers, with occasional moray eels and octopus in rocky pockets. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers, as long as current and surf conditions are calm and entry/exit are managed safely from shore.
