Kansas Reef

Kansas Reef is a shallow coastal site known for easy access and calm conditions, suitable for beginners and drift practice with supervision. Located near Calliste, Morne Rouge and True Blue, it offers sandy to rocky patches with clear visibility typical of tropical reefs. Divers commonly encounter small reef fish, damselfish, snappers and juvenile parrotfish, with occasional rays cruising the slope. The site features a gentle drop-off and a sandy bottom that can host seagrass patches in deeper sections. Access is straightforward from nearby towns with short boat or shore entries, making it a convenient option for a relaxed half- to full-day dive.
