Hohe Düne is a coastal dive site near Rostock in northern Germany, offering access from the Baltic coast with shallow to mid-depth areas typical of wind-sheltered inshore reefs and wrecks. The site features a mix of sandy patches, rocky substrates, and small structures that host a variety of Baltic Sea species. Expect clear water in good conditions, with visibility commonly ranging from a few meters to around 10 m. Entry is straightforward from shore or a nearby jetty, and the site is suitable for recreational divers with basic to intermediate training. The area is commonly used for short recreational dives, drift along the shore, and check-out dives from local centers. Nearby towns Rostock, Elmenhorst/Lichtenhagen and Nienhagen provide access and support from local dive shops.
