Bodden Town

Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman offers a classic Caribbean diving experience with clear blue water and diverse reef and wall sites. Typical conditions include moderate currents and good visibility, often ranging from 20 to 30 meters, with depths commonly from shallow reefs around 6–18 meters down to walls and drop-offs beyond 25 meters. The area supports healthy coral gardens, sponges, and a variety of reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, reef sharks and groupers, along with frequent sightings of rays and sea turtles in many sites. Access is primarily via local dive centers based around George Town and the northwest coast; boat dives are common and shore entries are available at select sites. The nearby beds of seagrass and patches of reef create a dynamic underwater landscape that suits both drift and wall dives for certified divers.
