Fish Garden

Fish Garden is a coastal dive site off the Adriatic, near Portorož and Savudrija in Slovenia. The site typically features a shallow to mid-depth reef slope with scattered rocks and small caves, making it accessible for beginner to intermediate divers. Entry is from a calm shoreline or small harbor, with easy to moderate currents and good visibility in clear days. The seabed hosts typical Mediterranean-influenced Adriatic life such as wrasses, damselfish, snappers, octopus, and small groupers, with seagrass beds in shallower zones. It is commonly used as a gentle drift or wall dive along the rocky substrate, with opportunities to explore tiny crevices and the occasional swim-through. Given its proximity to Savudrija and Portorož, divers often combine this site with other local dives in the region.
