Fish Bowl

Fish Bowl is a local reef dive site off Kauai’s south shore, commonly accessed from nearby resorts and shore access points around Poipu and Koloa. The site features a sloping sandy bottom with patches of coral heads and bommies that attract a range of tropical fish and invertebrates. Expect gentle to moderate currents and good visibility typical of Kauai’s nearshore reefs. Divers often encounter parrotfish, damselfish, wrasses, occasional reef sharks and sea turtles in the area, with healthy coral colonies and macro life on the reef structures. Entry is usually from the beach or a short boat ride, and conditions are suitable for beginners with proper buoyancy control, though local currents can vary with tides.
