El Molinet

El Molinet is a local dive site along the Costa Brava, near Torroella de Montgrí. Access is straightforward and the site is commonly chosen for relaxed recreational dives in calm conditions. Expected depths are shallow to moderate, with rocky bottoms and interesting topography formed by coastal shelves. Common Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, octopus, wrasse, and moray eels may be encountered in typical conditions around rocky outcrops and around posidonia seabeds. The site lies within easy reach of nearby towns like Torroella de Montgrí, l'Escala and Begur, making it a convenient option for day trips from coastal centers.
