Egernsund Wrack
Egernsund Wrack is a local wreck dive site in the sheltered waters off southern Denmark. The site comprises a small sunken vessel resting on a sandy bottom with moderate to good visibility typical of Baltic coastal sites. Depths are shallow to moderate, making it accessible to experienced recreational divers with appropriate buoyancy control. The wreck often hosts juvenile fish and small invertebrates and is commonly visited by divers from nearby Sønderborg, Egernsund, and Glücksburg for short, relaxed dives. Entry is straightforward from a rocky shore or small pier, with cautious silt at the wreck base. This site suits drift-free dives in calm conditions and provides a calm, quick exposure to Baltic wreck exploration for local divers.
