Dhiggaru Kandu
Dhiggaru Kandu is a channel site along the atoll area offering fairly gentle drift conditions typical of Maldivian passages. The site features an underwater topography of soft to moderate currents with sandy bottom and scattered coral patches. Depths are generally shallow to moderate, accessible to experienced recreational divers and suitable for drift dives when conditions permit. Expect current-flushed water and visibility that varies with weather; marine life commonly includes reef fish, groupers, snorkellers following the atoll edges may spot napoleon wrasse and reef sharks on deeper drifts. Access is through nearby inhabited islands, with local dive centers providing guided dives and safety briefings.
