Dash Point Pier
Dash Point Pier is a local freshwater/nearshore site in the Puget Sound region, commonly accessed from Dash Point State Park. The site features a shallow pier structure with typical Northwest coastal temperate conditions. Divers often encounter schooling fish, small rockfishes, crabs, and a variety of invertebrates around pilings. Entry is usually from the shoreline or the pier edge, with moderate currents and good visibility on clear days. Depths are generally shallow, making it suitable for introductory to intermediate dives and training near urban centers such as Tacoma, Federal Way, and Spring Beach.
