Damnoni Beach is a straightforward Mediterranean shore dive site with a sandy bottom and rocky patches. Access is easy from the beach, with entry and exit along the shoreline. Depths are generally shallow, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers under calm conditions. The site typically features clear water, coastal scenery, and typical western Greek marine life such as wrasse, small groupers, moray eels, and octopus in rocky crevices. Be mindful of tidal effects and seasonal currents near the coast. This is a local, easy-access site best paired with a short shore dive or a quick, in-and-out session from nearby towns like Plakias or Damnoni.
