Conception Rocks

Conception Rocks is a coastal reef site in shallow, clear waters near Curieuse Island, typically ranging from a few to about 20 metres. The dive typically starts from a gentle ascent along a rocky seabed with small ledges and sandy pockets, providing a relaxed entry for beginners and a gentle drift for more experienced divers when conditions allow. Expect abundant small reef life, playful wrasses, sergeant majors, and occasional moray eels around the rock outcrops. The site is reached from the Mahé–Praslin area, with nearby access from Port Launay or Port Glaud clusters; local conditions are influenced by seasonal winds and currents. It’s a straightforward dive offering a pleasant shallow topography and opportunities to observe vibrant coral growth and teeming invertebrate life typical of Seychelles coastal reefs.
