Torroella De Montgrí

Carall Bernat

Carall Bernat is a local Mediterranean dive site near the Costa Brava, commonly accessed from Torroella de Montgrí, L'Escala and Begur. The site features typical Catalan coast topography with rocky seafloor, gentle slopes and transitions suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Entry is from shore or boat depending on conditions, with visibility that varies seasonally. Expect Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, octopus and moray eels, along with posidonia seagrass habitats. The area is influenced by coastal currents and is often used as a calm-water training or scenery dive rather than a destination site.
