Cap Roig

Cap Roig is a coastal dive site near Palamós in Catalonia, Spain. The area features rocky seabed and typical Western Mediterranean life, with easy access from the shore or a small boat. Divers commonly find shallow to mid-depth ledges and patches of posidonia seagrass, offering habitat for groupers, wrasses, octopus, and moray eels. Conditions are usually calm in good weather, with visibility often ranging from a few to several metres depending on currents and wind. The site is suitable for recreational divers and training dives, especially near the coast between Palamós and Calonge i Sant Antoni. Nearby towns such as Palamós, Palafrugell, and Calonge i Sant Antoni provide regional access and services.
