Cala D’aiguablava
Cala d’Aiguablava is a shallow coastal site along the Costa Brava, approached from the rocky shoreline near Aiguablava cove. The dive typically features calm conditions from a gentle slope with sandy patches and rocky outcrops. Entry is straightforward from the beach or small ramps, with conditions suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect Mediterranean marine life typical of the region, including groupers, moray eels, octopus, and a variety of sea breams, along with posidonia meadows in surrounding areas. Visibility is generally moderate and currents are usually light, making this a relaxed dive suitable for inshore visits from nearby towns such as Palafrugell, Begur and Palamós.
