Bumbište

Bumbište is a local coastal dive site near the Istrian towns of Banjole, Pješčana Uvala, and Pomer. The area offers straightforward access from nearby shores, with shallow to moderate depths typical of small reef and rocky shelf environments. Expect clear Adriatic conditions, calm surface in normal weather, and bottom topography featuring rocky blocks and gentle slopes. Marine life in this part of the northern Adriatic commonly includes groupers, sea bream, wrasses, sea urchins, and various crustaceans, with posidonia meadows nearby in suitable habitats. This site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and for check-out dives or training, weather permitting.
