Bodu Ashey

Bodu Ashey is a local Rasdhoo dive site near the atoll’s inhabited islands, typically reached by short boat trips from Rasdhoo. The site offers a sandy to gently sloping bottom with shallow reefs and clear waters, suitable for easy beach and boat dives. Divers commonly encounter open-water conditions with mild currents and good visibility, making it a practical option for beginners or those seeking a relaxed dive in the Maldives. The Rasdhoo area is known for its vibrant macro life and standard reef inhabitants, such as damselfish, parrotfish, angelfish, and occasional reef sharks in deeper sections around the atoll edges. Access is straightforward from Rasdhoo, about a 5–6 minute boat ride, with nearby centres offering local dive services.
