Black Tip is a coastal dive site off Adeje in the Canary Islands. It features a sloping reef and rocky bottom with depths typically ranging from shallow to mid-20s meters, depending on the entry point and current. The site is known for clear Atlantic visibility, especially in good conditions, and a healthy mix of soft and hard corals, sponges, and abundant fish life. Common sightings include reef fish such as groupers, moray eels, wrasse, damselfish, and occasional larger species attracted by the nearby deep-water channels. A gentle drift or wall-like drop offers interesting topography and navigation challenges for trained divers, with easy exits at sandy patches. Access is straightforward from Adeje, with nearby centers offering guided dives and rental gear.
