Beria

Beria is a local dive site near the Basque coast, accessed from the towns around Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure. The area offers shallow to moderate depth dives along rocky coastal habitats with typical Atlantic seabed topography. Expect clear Atlantic water, moderate visibility, and local marine life such as wrasses, gobies, and blennies, with occasional larger species nearby depending on conditions. Access is straightforward from nearby towns within a few minutes’ drive, and the site is commonly used for social dives and beginners’ refreshers when conditions allow. This is not a large destination site but a convenient option for short local outings among the Pays Basque dive community.
