Auberge Reef

Auberge Reef is a shallow, local reef site commonly used by nearby divers exploring the Mare Anglaise area. The reef features gentle slopes with scattered coral heads and patch reefs, typically ranging from a few to about a dozen meters deep. Access is straightforward from the nearby coastal area, with calm conditions prevailing on calm days. Expect typical Western Indian Ocean reef life such as small reef fish, wrasses, damselfish, moray eels, and occasional larger groupers in the crevices. Visibility is often moderate to good, depending on recent conditions. The site is well suited for beginner through intermediate divers looking for a relaxed dive close to the mainland.
