Aluth Gal Mattha
Aluth Gal Mattha is a coastal dive site along Sri Lanka’s scenic southern coast near Galle. The site lies within easy reach from Talpe and Rumassala, with the approach typically from shore or a short boat hop. Depths for this site are shallow to moderate, commonly ranging from a few meters near the entry to around 18–25 meters on the outer reef walls. The terrain features sloping sandy patches and rocky outcrops that host a variety of reef fish, small scorpene lobsters, and moray eels.
