Mabini

Aiyanar House Reef

Aiyanar House Reef is a shallow, sheltered reef site located in the Mabini area. It features a comb-like reef structure with coral heads and sandy gaps, suitable for beginner and intermediate divers. Entry is typically from a gentle shore slope or a small boat mooring, with calm conditions common on calm days. The site offers modest underwater topography, with boulders and coral blocks providing habitat for a range of tropical species. Expect typical Visayas specimens such as small reef fish, fusiliers, damselfish, and snappers, plus occasional sea urchins and nudibranchs. The area is commonly used for practice dives, checkouts, and relaxed recreational dives close to the towns of Mabini, Tingloy, and Bauan, within a short boat ride. Current and depth are generally mild, making this a useful option for a relaxed half-day dive near southern Luzon islands.
