Santa Martha

Santa Martha is a coastal town in Curacao with access to Caribbean Sea snorkeling and diving basics. It’s within reach of several dive centers and reef sites around the island, though the town itself is not a major dive hub. Local diving activity tends to focus on nearby reef dives, shore entries, and introductory training trips organized by island operators. The presence of a freshwater lake named Zoommeer provides a distant, non-coastal divers can visit for non-dive recreation or pool-style training in a freshwater setting, but it is not part of typical Curacao diving itineraries. For divers, Santa Martha serves as a gateway to Curacao’s reef-rich southern coast and to the broader island dive circuit.
