Croatia is a popular diving destination along the Adriatic Sea, with most activity concentrated on the northern and central coast and the many islands. From bases such as Krk and Punat (on Krk Island) or around Cres and Mali Lošinj, divers typically find clear coastal water, rocky bottoms with reef-like formations, and plenty of sheltered sites suitable for day trips.
