Xinjiang is an inland region in the far northwest of China, where diving opportunities are limited due to its desert and high-altitude landscapes. The area offers little in the way of saltwater diving; any notable water activities are typically in artificial or inland environments rather than marine dive sites. If present, local diving would be minimal and mainly of interest to niche or technical divers seeking inland or cave environments, not coastal reef diving.
