Checker Hall

Checker Hall is a settlement on Barbados’ northwest coast near the Saint Lucy region. It’s not a primary dive hub, but Barbados overall offers beginner-friendly Caribbean diving with calm warm waters and clear visibility close to shore. With 17 recorded dive sites around the island, most diving here is done via local centers along the coast, with options for reef dives, shallow walls, and occasional wrecks accessible from nearby shores. The site is better known for coastal access, beaches, and local attractions than for being a dedicated diving destination, so divers typically base themselves in larger towns for day trips to nearby reefs and sites around Barbados. Freshwater options are limited in this region; most diving opportunities are in saltwater along the Caribbean Sea.
