Ocean Grove

Ocean Grove sits along Victoria’s coastline and acts as a gateway for casual coastal diving on the Great Ocean Road. With a handful of local dive centers nearby, divers typically use Ocean Grove as a base for day trips to nearby reefy coastal sites, kelp forests, and shallow wrecks along the southern Australian coast. Conditions vary seasonally, with temperate water, visibility generally fair to good, and marine life including common reef fish, rays, and occasional larger pelagics at more distant sites. The town itself isn’t a dive hub, but it provides access to the region’s diverse, accessible dive sites plus shore and boat-diving options.
