Nearby, divers typically access freshwater options in the region through quarry or lake dives within the broader Patagonia and Neuquén provinces, but such sites are outside the city and require travel. For most divers, Neuquén serves as a regional gateway for culture and as a base for inland exploration, with very limited local dive activity.
