Kawaguchi

Kawaguchi is a landlocked city in Saitama, Japan, located near the Kanto plains and far from the coast. It has very limited diving relevance within the city itself. Nearby freshwater options include Lake Hinuma for recreational scuba practice or training in controlled environments, but this is outside the city and not a typical dive destination. With only a single local dive center and no nearby offshore dive sites, Kawaguchi serves more as a gateway to broader regional diving in the Tokyo metropolitan area and beyond, where divers usually travel to coastal areas for ocean diving or to freshwater training sites further afield.
