Indre Et Loire

Indre-et-Loire is an inland administrative region in the Centre-Val de Loire, well inland from the Atlantic and not a primary diving destination. The region is known for its historic towns, châteaux, and river landscapes along the Loire. For divers, the area offers no saltwater dive opportunities; if visiting, focus on cultural sites and inland waterways such as the Scarpe river for freshwater activities outside of marine diving. The regional diving scene centers on nearby coastal areas of the east and west of France and is more about travel logistics to reach major dive hubs than local diving within the region itself.
