Sèche Croissant

Sèche Croissant is a local dive site near Nouméa, typically accessed from the coast within a short boat ride. The reef features a gentle topography with scattered coral heads and sandy patches, suitable for beginners and drift-friendly conditions when currents are light. Expect a mix of typical tropical Indo-Pacific reef life such as damselfish, parrotfish, angelfish and small reef critters, with macro opportunities for critter seekers. Visibility can vary with plankton and weather, and buoyancy control is important on the shallow sand/reef transitions. Access from Nouméa is convenient, and the site is commonly used by local dive centers for supervised dives and refresher sessions.
