Paradise Ii, Mabul

Paradise II, Mabul is a small reef-laced site near Semporna, typically accessed by short boat rides. The site features a shallow to mid-depth profile with healthy coral growth and a variety of reef fish, nudibranchs and other small invertebrates common to the Sabah region. Entry is usually from a gentle slope or sand patch leading to complex coral structures, suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Calm conditions and good viz are typical on many days, though currents can appear with tides. The area around Mabul is known for macro life and easy access to house reefs, making Paradise II a convenient choice for a relaxed day of shore- or boat-based diving near the village of Pulau Ma'bualu and the larger Semporna archipelago.
