Hon Mot

Hon Mot is a small offshore reef site accessible from the nearby coastal towns. It features a shallow to mid-depth wall and coral gardens with gentle topography, typically encountered at modest depths. The site is usually sheltered, offering relatively calm conditions and good visibility on typical tropical Southeast Asian dives. Expect a mix of hard corals, spine- and bannerfish, parrotfish, wrasse and occasional nudibranchs, with reef-dwellers common around the structure. Access is straightforward from the boat, with entry and exit near the reef edge and a drift-free profile when conditions are calm. This site is suitable for mid-water, shallow reef dives and for divers building experience near Nha Trang and Hon Mot’s offshore area.
