🇬🇵 Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe is an overseas French island group in the Caribbean Sea, diving mainly in the warm saltwater around Grande-Terre, Basse-Terre, and the smaller islands. Most dives are from the coast or short boat rides, with coral gardens and mixed reef habitats, plus steeper drop-offs where the seafloor falls quickly from the shallows. Conditions can be very good on calm days (often decent visibility and comfortable surface temperatures), but currents may increase depending on the site and season, so planning with local centers is important.

Diving is generally for all levels on accessible reefs, while more exposed walls and deeper profiles are better suited to experienced divers. The best-known areas are typically those with protected waters, points and channels where marine life aggregates, and locations near volcanic coastlines that create varied underwater topography.
