Paquera

Paquera is a town in Puntarenas Province on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is not a major coastal dive hub, and there are no widely known local dive sites or centers listed within the town itself. The area is better known for its natural landscapes and access to nearby coastal areas along the Pacific, where divers typically travel to reach dive sites further afield along Costa Rica’s dive-rich Pacific coast. If diving is pursued, visitors commonly base themselves in larger coastal towns with established centers for boat dives to reefs and pelagic-rich waters, or explore freshwater opportunities outside Paquera town as part of broader travel plans.
