Guangxi

Guangxi is an autonomous region in southern China with a coastline on the South China Sea. Diving in Guangxi is relatively limited and more commonly pursued in nearby coastal provinces, while inland waters and karst landscapes define the region’s geography. The South China Sea coast near Beihai offers the closest marine access, with shallow, warm waters and typical tropical marine life in some spots; much of Guangxi’s dive activity centers on river and lake environments in the region’s interior. For divers, the area is better known for land-based exploration and access points rather than a dense network of dive sites within the region itself.
