Jijoca De Jericoacoara

Jijoca de Jericoacoara is a coastal town in Ceará, Brazil, known as a gateway to the Jericoacoara National Park area. While the city itself is more about its sand dunes, beaches, and laid-back village vibe, it serves as a launch point for day trips and boat outings to nearby offshore reefs and coastal sites along the northeast coast. Dive activity in the immediate town is limited, but several nearby centers along the Ceará coast offer introductory and technical courses, gear rental, and trips to famous wrecks and reefs when in season. Expect warm, tropical water with moderate visibility close to shore, and a variety of reef fish and occasional dolphins offshore.
