An Giang Province

An Giang Province is a landlocked administrative region in southern Vietnam, bordered by Cambodia. It has no direct access to open ocean and does not host coastal diving; its waters are predominantly freshwater in the inland river networks. The province is more commonly explored for cultural and nature experiences along the Mekong Delta, with nearby coastal destinations reachable via day trips from larger hubs in the region. For divers, plan focuses on travel to established coastal sites in southern Vietnam, such as Phú Quốc or other Gulf of Thailand–adjacent areas, rather than on-site diving within An Giang itself.
